Get a Salesperson License

Study a few hours each week and qualify to take the state sales license exam within as little as two months. PREP offers the DRE-approved correspondence courses you need to complete to qualify for a California Real Estate sales license. Minimum enrollment time is 2 ½ weeks per course.

An individual who submits an application for the real estate sales agent examination and license to the Department of Real Estate (DRE) must complete all of the following courses in order to sit for the exam:

• Real Estate Principles;
• Real Estate Practice; and
• One additional pre-licensing course, PREP recommends Legal Aspects since it contains more information relevant to answering questions on the State exam.

The package contains 2700 questions and answers; helpful hints; memory aides; hot off the press questions; everything a person needs to know to pass the state exam. In addition, one of our staff will go over how to study and pass the exam the first time. This package for License Prep is for those that have already taken California Real Estate Principles Course.
